Revenue increased by 38%, profit increased by 3 times compared to 2021 have been encouraging numbers announced by Saigon Cultural Products Corporation (SCPC) at the Conference on summary of business and production activities in 2022 held in the afternoon Feb 16, 2023.

According to the report, enterprises in the system of SCPC have made great efforts to recover from the impact of the covid-19 epidemic, rearranged labor, and promptly seized opportunities to deploy business activities adapting to the new situation. Revenues from all areas of operation were increased over the same period in 2021, specifically 10% in printing sector, 36% in distribution sector, 140% in the cinema and 60% in service sector.

The conference presented Certificates of Merit from the HCMC People’s Committee to 07 departments/branches and 08 individuals with outstanding achievement in 2022, and awarded the title of Labor Collective Excellence to 22 units.

Dialogue at the conference, Mr.Truong Van Hien – deputy secretary of SCPC Party Committee, General Director said that in 2023 SCPC will carry on to focus on main products, narrow ineffective ones, decrease costs, arrange the use of lands/properties to enhance efficiency. In addition, SCPC has been also urgently completing the construction of the corporation’s restructuring project for the period of 2023 – 2025 in accordance with the new objective, capacity and situation.
